We are experts on professional software engineering, including tailored implementations and algorithms, as well as automatization of data processing pipelines, mainly for large scientific projects. Our expertise includes Java, Python and C/C++, as well as high-quality standards such as ECSS.

Our data compression product, FAPEC, delivers excellent performances on a large variety of data – from generic datasets to specialized file formats. Furthermore, we can design bespoke implementations for demanding use cases. We also provide a professional image viewer, FARSHY, supporting raw image formats as well as maritime watercolumn files.

We have customers from a wide range of fields, from the Space sector (both “classical” and NewSpace) to maritime geosciences.

This company was founded by researchers from the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) who worked together on the Gaia project, the billion-star space astrometry mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) at the Institute for Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC).
